POLLY HEADCANONS POLLY HEADCANONS! Okay, okay, let me think;
- Past DD Apollo and Athena grow very close; The friendship between Athena, Trucy and Apollo goes very deep and is his closer inner circle in and outside of work. Thanks to Athena he later also forms a good relationship with Simon. His second inner circle next to them are Klavier and Ema. (In short; Apollos friendship to Athena / Ema means a lot to me!)
- Apollo is afraid of heights and fire, but his "odd fear only few people know of" is clowns. He hates them. Athena and Trucy had to experience it.
- Apollo and Ema are close on a very queer platonic way in all my AUs! They have a very close friendship and Ema, Trucy and Athena are the few people Apollo also allows physically close to him (e.g. to hug or cuddle him).
- I'm a big enjoyer of the autistic Apollo headcanon - therefore a lot of my headcanons come from my own experiences! As an example; I love to draw Apollo stimming and I believe he has a history of being the "odd one out". When becoming an attorney he tries to prevent himself from stimming in public to act more "professional", but when working together with Athena (also autistic) it's impossible; They start stimming about every little thing possible.
- His special interest is literally law; When he was still studying he was a huge fan of Phoenix and disappointed about his career ending. Later on their relationship goes through ups and downs. He mistrusts Phoenix greatly, but eventually (past DD) they grow together as a weird little patchwork family. Still, whenever on vacation, Apollo is dead set to sometimes act like he as never met Phoenix in his entire life whenever Phoenix's doing something embarrassing (which is often).
- Using his ability is not only very exhausting, but in certain situations very physically painful. He doesn't like using it and yet it takes a long time for him to trust people enough to NOT use it in everyday life and assure he isn't being lied to.
- Clay was Apollos first and deepest friend. Even as young teenagers they had big goals set out for them and kept pushing one another (gently) to work for them. When Apollo finishes his studies it's Clay to encourage him to apply at the Gavin Law Office - despite Kristoph not looking for a helping hand. Apollo is scared as hell when showing up in Kristophs office to apply, but Clay is right; They have big dreams to archive. He's more than surprised when actually getting the spot right next to the "coolest defense in the west".
