hi jul🌱 you're such an inspiring person, i'm really fascinated by you! i have a silly question, not sure you can answer but i would be happy to get your 2cents:
how we decide what to do in life if we feel like we have no passions or dreams at all? how we discover them? maybe through the art we consume? idk.

oh you are too sweet... the timing of this is crazy because i've been having a pretty low day thinking about what i'm doing with my life ect ect (the usual) so first of all, you are definitely not alone in this. i can't say i have a fitting answer and especially today i haven't been dealing well at all.

i always like to keep yoongi's words at the back of my mind, "we can't give our dreams too much meaning. dreams are just dreams. when i say it's okay to not have a dream, it's because you don’t need one." as well as bts' paradise, "it's okay to pause, there's no need to run without knowing the reason. it's okay not to have a dream as long as there are moments to briefly feel happiness." (i think i even tweeted about these two recently? so yeah, you could say i've been going through it.)

for me personally, i'm learning to not associate dreams and passions directly with a career path. it just puts too much pressure and expectations on the topic itself. if i don't look at the thinks i like and love to do with this grand term of dreams and passions, i can come up with many small ones like taking photos, baking, crocheting, pottery, curating etc. and writing these down feels so silly to me, whereas other will say these are great! in the end, we are our own's biggest judge and we should try not to be so hard on ourselves. just do what you like to do. maybe you will see some friends or people on here post about something that seems cool and you get to try out something new! i know it's easier said than done but there's so much out there, there will be something for you too.

thank you for reaching out, it honestly helped me a lot to talk about this today. what a relief to know we are not alone in our struggles!!!! i'm wishing you the best, always 🌷
