Hey I've been reading your Taegi and I want to let you know that if you don't feel comfortable to write the smut scene, please don't force yourself. The story is interesting regardless of whether there is smut in it. For me personally, their dynamic and the development of their relationship is most important. So you can always chose to cut the scene off and leave it to the imagination of the readers if that makes it more comfortable for you. In the end it's important that you enjoy telling this story.
