How do we protect ourselves from being hurt?
the truth is, no matter how much we try, we can’t always protect ourselves from pain. life has its own way of throwing unexpected things at us, and sometimes those things hurt. but instead of living in constant fear of that pain, we can learn to accept it when it comes, knowing that it’s just another part of the ride. what really matters is how we handle it; letting ourselves feel it, process it, and move on. in those tough moments, we grow, we learn, and we start to understand our own emotions and the feelings of others too. :]
