how did you get into shibari? do you go to a local "club" or something,, how does that generally work?
Generally, there are events that happen, they are practically weekly around here - some taught events, some "peer rope" or jam events which are more freeform and social tying. I recommend making an account on Fetlife and looking at the event listings for your area to see what is around you!
