this is not the answer you probably want to hear but asking this stuff in the beetlejuice fandom is a fool's errand because this fandom has some pretty polarizing opinions. but as a general tip; if you want to create something, you have to do what you want to see, not what others want to see. this way your audience will be people who feel how you feel, and they'll connect with what you made. trust me, people can tell when something is made to pander and when it comes from a genuine passion for what you're making. the latter is what pops off, in my experience.
