I knooooow, but they're surprisingly hard to draw tbh, so it takes a while, I even have a sketch of like, not VC2, but 1, the explosions girl, loved her there, too bad she gets zero character past the game lines, its what i appreciated about 2, everyone got some development. Glad to see a VC fan, expect more, but, it be hard!

Yeah i have that a lot, again, live your life outside of it for a bit, watch movies you haven't seen, and just, see new experiences, or even stuff you've seen before, but haven't seen in a long time, again, without the pressure to do art in mind.

For a real answer I guess, take a break, do something new, eat something new, live life divorced from the pressure you're putting on art. Art block usually comes from you being tired of doing it, you don't want to admit it, but yeah.

I listen to this podcast, Castle Super Beast, and one of the hosts once talked about ''just pressing buttons for fun'' instead of practicing until you're sick in fighting games, it's also important to ''just press buttons'' in art too, just, doodle whatever, no commitment, just, experiment with your tools, its easy to lose sight of the ''fun'' in art if all you do is try to improve.

In my experience, I lay down in bed, disassociate, feel like a fraud, get dark thoughts, sleep, wake up, pet dog, block gone, repeat for next night.
