i loved your answer! my favorite thing is that sukuna only acknowledges gojo's attempts at getting him to understand but never returning those feelings, but with tjkn, i think sukuna being interested in toji whether for his person or his HR, it almost seems to good to be true for someone like toji :(. gojo gets everything he wants except for this one thing with someone possibly similar to him and toji who never has anything go his way for even a little bit being granted attention of someone that represents all that he wants to tear down. sorry this isn't a question anymore i just wanted to talk about them a little from your reply, i love your writing and retrospect, idk if it's out of pocket but i binged all of restless souls in a day and i love tojikuna so bad it makes my heart ache, i hope you continue it some day 🥹
yes!!! you get it. UGH it gets me so bad,,, i wrote a thread i really need to update about gojo and sukunas parallels but the way gojos born a 'god' but is ultimately human and sukunas born the opposite and gave up his humanity to get to the same point makes me sickkkk,, how gojo can see the strength and hunger in sukuna and all the parts of himself he recognises in him but he's talking to a man who's long dead. And with tjkn both of them are far too gone to 'love' or connect in a way most people can and them being able to go all out with each other ughh AND OMG THAT MAKES ME SO HAPPY im so glad you liked it,,, im sorry for the lack of updates this year has been crazy but I am working on it I promise lmao

were you satisfied by the most recent chapter? very sad ofc but like, did sukuna go out like how you wanted him to?
For me it made sense how he died refusing to relent and go back into Yuji and choosing to die a vile mess as a curse rather than accepting humanity and love. Yuji can show him what love is and has but naturally he would never accept it. However, as a Sukuna stan did they HAVE to make him look like that? If it was me writing I would have made him 'human' again (without the curse markings or in his weakest form) to represent humanity as it would parallel yuji and them have him reject it but the message would be the same.

I LOVE THIS QUESTION!! i think it's the relationship dynamics that differs to how sukuna acts around the pairs. gojo always tries to connect to sukuna as a human / an equal which means they often butt heads and sukunas fighting for his life to remain unbothered. The angst and one sidedness of it is my fave to explore especially with gojo wanting connection and sukuna not being able to give it in a way he'd want. For tjkn how sukuna reacted to heavenly restrictions and toji basically being his ultimate fight because he's new and exciting + how he can't sense toji gets me baddd, them both being haters & their how their personalities would mesh is something I find soooo fun to write. They're both very different but I love them both sooo much :D

i mean sukuna clearly dgaf about anyone or things like consent considering he eats and murders people but someone having the capacity to do something like that doesn’t mean they would. sukuna gets his gratification and enjoyment from humans through bloodshed and suffering we have seen him sulk because he’s killed all the strong people and terrorise shibuya if he wanted to ‘act out’ we would have seen that behaviour in him already either verbally or physically. regardless it’s a very strange hill to die on and the type of people who counter it 😧 ew

sorry if you feel uncomfortable by this question, but what do you think of the negative sexualization Sukuna has? such as people going "oh if he's a cannibal and a killer for a thousand years, he must've groomed and r*ped people" 😭 I just think it's horribly ooc..
i wrote a more in-depth answer in a thread which i’ll link under but i agree it’s SO ooc and it takes away from what makes sukuna so interesting of a villain especially in the way he views people and his detachment from them,, having a morality argument over sukuna is insane to begin with but i’ll never get how people can’t tell the difference between a character that could do something vs one that would do something.

do you have a ranking of your favourite Sukuna ships? from most favourite to still a favourite but 'I don't dabble in it as much'.
the only ones i actively ship are tojikuna sukume and sukugo. I’m more into the one sided doomed sukugo and canon / platonic sukume bc their dynamic gets me soooo bad but tjkn will always be my #1 forever and always i could wax poetry about their dynamic
