I like kyman mostly because of the embarrassnent aspect like imagine being "enemies" your whole childhood and developing feelings for them 😭 and also the way it's lowkey semicanon on cartmans side and how we through that can see his mental state, I think it's very interesting. Like through it you explore so much of their pshycie and realize they litterly can't live without each other and not bc of some grand reason. It also shows how similar they actually are and most people don't want to admit that kyle is anything like eric 😭
Now for stary it's more complex in my head but I love the concept of Gary coming to terms with his identity, feelings and the fact that he was raised in a cult. It's a hard thing to go through (ik from first hand experience) and he's definitely going through shit at first and focusing on helping Stan thus ignoring his own burdens. I also just love them in general it's so hard to describe but they're so complex and so special to me you have no idea
