- Gary definitely admires Stans will and persistence and especially the will to defy certain authorities like his parents (but not in the sense of him being a "rebel" or "bad child", more so that he doesn't let them drag them down and ruin his chances to do something he loves like play music for example or escape the farm) and he definitely admires how he cares so much about saving the earth, animals and such (they'd so go to helping shelters together #bestdateideaever)
- I feel like Stan would admire the amount of love Gary has in his heart if that makes sense, like this boy has so much love to share but (in the start) he can't really let himself because of the church and his family dragging him down (aka being gay ain't okay), but he'll come through in the end ❤ I feel like he also admires just how talented he is (be it sports, singing, instruments)
- (these go for PC) Stan probably likes how good Gary is with children, be it if it's his own or in general, like, he definitely is the best at story telling and entertaining them I swear!! Gary likes Stans love handles, won't elaborate further. Also I like to think Gary has the most adorable smile lines that Stan just adores <33
- omg I also think Stan would adore his laugh idk that's such a cute thought aaaa
- this is very random but I feel like Stan would like how Gary presents/reads stuff to him while making sure he's reading with him, he can tell he got this skill from going door to door sm
