In your opinion, would Mer!J¡seck be angry when meeting Pirate Captain Gvn¡l for the first time after one of the crew injured him with a harpoon as J¡seck was swimming near the ship? Or would he try to understand, but once he had been patched up by the doctors on Gvn¡l's ship, would he immediately try and make a break for the water again and never come back to the ship?

this is such a specific question wowie umm i actually think the latter is more likely bc while i'd like to think jiji is very nice and understanding i also think he'd put his safety first & he might still be scared esp if that's his first "nice" encounter with humans he can't rlly know if they're to be trusted past bandaging him up yk ?? (althoughhhhhh i also think gυnil would want to see him again and look for him partly out of wanting to make sure he's okay and the rest just curiosity and intrigue for the pretty mermaid)
