he was originally made just to be an "antagonist" i guess, he was a piece of shit who was just meant to be a hurdle for lilian and oli, obsessed with oli, trying to take him away from lilian -- but i grew very uncomfortable with depicting forty that way. over time with creating his lore and developing him, it made me upset that he was just meant to be this Big Bad, and irredeemable. idk how to describe it, but it just made me uncomfortable, so i retconned everything except for the fact that he has killed 6 people when he was younger, as a result of roid rage and was unintentional
