speedrunning this one bc event is soon buuuut judging by kohane’s card name (“to be worthy”) i think it might be a little conversation about either 1) being worthy of your aibou as you move forward 2) being worthy of the new dream you’re about to undertake. is it right for you to do this? can you dedicate everything you have to it (yet again)? both of these are things kohane has struggled with and expressed understanding about akito—see her find a way out card story where she tries reasoning out why akito was so harsh to her in the beginning and wondering if it was “his own form of kindness” (though kotaro and touya agree he was mainly being petty.) so like. it is a Thing that they share, but as for the inciting incident im not quite sure… we will have to see

i also think it’s worth noting the intention behind the world link card split being an+touya “burdened by their pasts,” negative feelings —> wtwg touya using his past to help an & kohane+akito “resolved toward their goal,” positive feelings —> possible akito5 conversation about rededicating themselves to their goals? esp since it was a notable thing kohane struggled with very early on + that akito initially needled her for. but as for how they’ll execute it… we’ll know soon enough
