Reading the part where Ross was about to take the board exam felt so real. Yung mga sinabi niya kay Lu, ganon na ganon yung naramdaman ko dati. Coming from a not-so-well-off family na maraming umaasa sa'yo to pass, sobrang bigat ng pressure. Knowing na may taong naniniwala at kumakapit sa'yo during that time, ang laking bagay talaga.
Pero ako noon, wala. Lahat ng yun, kinimkim ko lang mag-isa.

YK, when I wrote Ross's board exam arc, I really wanted to capture yung overwhelming pressure na sinasabi mo yung bigat ng expectations ng buong pamilya nasa balikat mo, how every study session feels like you're not just fighting for your future pero pati na rin ng lahat ng umaasa sa'yo. It hits different talaga kapag galing ka sa not-so-well-off family kasi ang success hindi lang want, it's a need.
The fact that you went through all that alone, keeping everything bottled up inside... that takes incredible strength, but it also leaves deep marks.
