i announce commission slots first for patrons, and if slots are left over, i open them to public.. which is pretty rarely, cause patrons usually take all the slots, so the best chance of getting one is by being my patron! also two of the more expensive supporter tiers include a monthly commission slot with reduced pricing, fyi!
