Are you comfortable with people drawing fanart of your characters? It would just be for you! I’ve been following for years and did it awhile ago with your previous permission but I wanted to check in again :)
oh, yes i am! though with some caveats; no nsfw fanart (i want to have control over what kind of nsfw art it would be, with detail, so that's reserved for friends i trust) & no romantic/sexual implications between characters who aren't their designated partners (so for fordic, cuvier & crest)
though, do ask my wife how she'd feel about any potential fanart of crest, since he belongs to her!

2 questions about Fordic
1) Why is he such a crybaby? Is it just getting overwhelmed with sex (both physically and visually) or is there something more going on? Not that I mind, I quite like seeing him full of tears which brings me to my second question
2) How important is Fordics consent to anyone that fucks him >:3
Don’t get me wrong he’s still cute when being lovey dovey with someone and deservers some pampering from time to time. But at the same time he’s small, rather defenceless, and very good at also being a pathetic crybaby instead of just a cute one. With a triple threat like that I’d find it hard not to do something against Fordics will. Especially since Cuvier seems big enough to be able to fold Fordic into a pretzel, it’s almost a waste to not boss Fordic around :)
1) he's not a crybaby!! well, okay, he might be sometimes. but he's a very feisty little guy, but he does get overwhelmed by Dick Too Bomb. like, have you seen cuvier's cock? of course he's gonna be overwhelmed by that?? LMFAOOO ((also from a meta perspective: i just fucking love drawing tears, snot, sweat, goop, fluids.. cum... goop... slime... stuff....))
2) the only ppl who get to fuck him are cuvier and crest, and consent is very important to both of them!! except when it's an AU story and the noncon is the point. which is, admittedly, quite often because i fucking love noncon (BUT ALSO, it always ALWAYS turns consensual eventually because i love noncon that turns to loveydovey)
but yeah cuvier especially canonically takes consent very seriously. way more so than fordic himself. but he does love seeing fordic cry, but only with fordic's consent. and he does love bossing fordic around, so they do BDSM and cuvier is a very good Dom!!

i’m new here, what’s the lore behind fordic?
in the distant past, the historical year of 2012, me and my wife made 12 original characters in the world of the webcomic homestuck! fordic is one of said 12 OCs (cuvier too) and.. he has been my neverending muse, inspiration and sunshine boy ever since then.
when we made them in 2012, we also made a webcomic about them and it was pretty fun!! then we got tired of homestuck and made them all human, and we've been creating little "AU"s for them ever since! there's no public canon for them, they exist in bits and pieces and our art, and private stories.
that's the short and sweet version of fordic lore!

perhaps! im not very often motivated/inspired enough to draw finished fanart, so it's usually just sketches/doodles! i need an otp to care about something enough to put all that time and effort (or monetary motivation thru commission lmfaooo) and currently i don't have any otps in hazbin.. (i do like thinking about val raping angel thooo, which i have sketched,,,, but atm it's such a messy sketch u cant even tell whats going on, so we shall see if it becomes something i can share at some point)

I think if you clarified Fordic and Crest's relationship a little (whether or not it's a relationship existing in the same universe as their husbands) maybe the hateful comments would stop a little... I must admit I'm still a little confused! Is crest and fordic something like cheating? or open relationship? because cuvier doesn't give me the vibe of someone who likes this kind of thing
fordic and crest's relationship is an ever evolving thing that doesn't currently have a set "canon" state. we have explored a lot of different kind of AU scenarios, but haven't decided on what would be the.. like, default way their relationship works. they're sometimes queerplatonic, sometimes poly, sometimes something else.. but fordic will never cheat on cuvier, so whatever the kind of relationship they have, it will be approved by cuvier!
