Hi, I read your little interpretation of Tamino's song. And although art is art, and you can interpret it however you want. In the song The First Disciple when he says "I'm afraid that no amount of fame. Will ever wash away the shame. Of knowing not how to love your only friend. Who will love you 'til the end" he refers to himself. It's not a song about a broken friendship with someone else, but about a disconnection between parts of himself.

Hi! I did not know that. And it really makes sense, I'm guessing that's the meaning he gave to that song. However, like you said, there's this great thing about music, as well as art in general, that's subjectivity and the fact that it's open to interpretation. That song and any other song can be shaped differently in our minds according to our own experiences in life and isn't that so cool?
