oooh!!! i’m always so bad at thinking of these things when people ask but here’s a few:
-he’s not a particularly materialistic person per se, but he does love to collect curiosities and antiques! i imagine his home is full of weird and wonderful objects he’s accumulated
-similarly, i think he has a fairly large collection of what xiao would call “literati fanfiction.” it tickles him to see how modern people interpret ancient events
-he actually likes going barefoot over wearing shoes bc it feels like a more solid connection to the earth. unfortunately mortals don’t wander around barefoot much and it would look a little funny if he did, so he’s pretty used to the concession of wearing shoes at this point
-this is related more to xiao than to zhongli, but i like to think xiao’s impression of cooking as a “long wait” is purely bc his only experience with it is watching zhongli cook. zhongli can take six hours to make a single meal, so xiao is just kinda like “people do this … every day….? multiple times a day….??”

there’s definitely more but there’s a few of my more light-hearted ones lol. (also THANK YOU AAAHH)
