i think he does all three, but irl it's always when he's with xie lian and they stumble upon one of those shops 😭😭😭 xie lian always wants to DIE like he begs him 'san lang nooo' but hua cheng doesn't care he just drags his sweet wife into the shop and coos at him 'look, darling, wouldn't you look so cute squirming on this?' and he even pulls xie lian close and measures the toy placing it over his tummy like he's trying to see whether the tip will reach it or not like legit sometimes xie lian pretends to faint so hua cheng won't bully him more

most times though he buys online, you'll catch him at work (where he's the boss) scrolling through a lot of toys and adding them to his "for my beautiful wife ❤️" wishlist or just straight to his cart 😭😭 and he does get xie lian custom made ones for special times such like their anniversary or xie lian's birthday
