Are you sure you didn't look for specific art styles? It doesn't seem to be the case if you look at the artists who were accepted. I wish you were more transparent about this so I wouldn't have applied because I had no chances of getting in.
hi, we definitely wanted a variety so we weren’t looking for specific styles! zines are a selective process due to the limited spots and it also comes down to preference as well. the application results are not representative of the quality of your work and we definitely don’t want people to be discouraged from applying to projects in the future! if you’ve any concerns, however, feel free to reach out privately to us!
