i definitely have, i love a historical au. i've thought about a concubine/emperor mnsvng fic before, which sort of morphed into a fic where emperor jsvng sees dancer mnh and becomes obsessed. so he sneaks him into the palace and finds a way to keep him there, ignoring his concubines and the empress. but there is more to dancer mnh than meets the eye :3
i've got a lot of fantasy wips on the go rn, including a new one i just posted, and i always lean historical for them. on my fantasy bingo card i have gumiho. which is a korean mythological creature which can absorb a human's energy through a kiss. i'm thinking to break my mold and do sevngin for that one. a fox beast just screams imie.
my problem is as a historian/history lover i care too much about small details. and my history knowledge is largely european-centric 🙃 so i want to do some more research first i think.
