yes.. if people are interested.. it's a lot..! I'm currently doing a lot of research into physics and scifi mechanics because I changed to setting to something I'm more comfortable with (space) so it's kind of heavy on the Lore side. I'm still working out the kinks.. I'm redesigning a few characters (very minor changes, mostly outfits to match the new setting) but I'll definitely throw some lore up if people want :'( i dont wanna be too boring LOL

Might regret asking this but ever since you posted that chennett ship chart I have been wondering what you meant with the “maybe in another life but not here, not now” trope… Please elaborate, I need to know how and what breaks them up eventually since your art usually doesn’t show that
aha sorry I don't have much time to draw them right now.. though I do have a comic anthology of sorts written up in my docs that I do want to get to at some point that includes this trope at the end..
Essentially I don't believe that that their relationship could ever work out in their favor. Not in the long run at least; Childe is a (fatui) warrior who travels the world and Bennett is an adventurer stationed in Mondstadt taking care of the elderly. Even if Bennett was to eventually travel the world as well, he could never follow Childe into his destiny (something much more than Bennett could ever dream of being a part of.) Their ideals are forever in opposition, and thus run ever-parallel. I think it's something they both come to be at peace with by the time Childe leaves Mondstadt. (my friend wrote a really good snippet about this idea where Bennett makes a scrapbook of their time together before Childe leaves, and Childe never opens it because he can't face the heartbreak)
So what I mean by "maybe in another life" is that, if their situations were different they'd be a perfect match. Like say, modern AUs. But as they are, Childe has to leave Bennett behind, and that's just the reality of it (and the tragedy of it) Because I don't think Bennett would ever really sacrifice his ideals in order to join the fatui, even if he respects them as people- and Childe has a responsibility to his nation. They ultimately have to go their seperate ways because there's just no way they could be together! And that's so sad!!! (Benefits me in ways you cant even imagine)
I meant to write a thread explaining this at some point but I actually get very shy talking about them in earnest.. LOL

But essentially, Childe would be a standard office worker and I like to think Bennett is more of an intern.. Taru doesn't really give manager, maybe a (temporary?) snezhnayan transfer.. and they could work in alcohol trade.. Since Taru does have that one line on the fishing item that says he's regarded as somewhat of a celebrity endorsement, he could work in marketing for this AU. Office bennett is really giving mail room as well.. I hope that answers your question.. feel free to ask if you have any more

basedddddddd (in all seriousness i think it does a pretty good job at being a jarring game even if it isnt really all that scary.. though the plot is a little convoluted but im holding off on judging it too hard before the rest of the lore drops. i like that leyley is an insane manipulator.. i wonder if andrew is gonna stand up for himself or keep letting her get away with things.. or if it'll be our choice :flushed:)
