Hello! I was wondering when applicants would hear back about whether they had been accepted, and also where said applicants would generally receive this message? I just applied so I don't expect to hear back for awhile but I do want to be looking out for it!

Hi! We will be sending all contributors an email telling them whether or not they were accepted at some point in the first week of June, once applications have closed and we've had time to review them all. Thanks!

I'd really love to apply and I love TAZ but I haven't written anything for it before. Will it hurt my application if I apply with fics from other fandoms only?

Hi!

While a TAZ sample is encouraged if you have it available so we can see your understanding of the characters, it is not required and will not hurt your chances if you don't have one.

Thanks!

Hiii I listened to TAZB when it first aired so all of the art pieces I have for it are both lost to time and also not indicative of my current style. If I submit a portfolio showcasing my current style and a TAZB art that isn't in that style, is that okay? I can draw something before the deadline that would show my understanding, but I don't presently have the capacity to work on something in the style I'd like to do for the zine, if that makes sense

Hi!

A TAZB sample isn't required in order to apply, but if you'd like to feature one of your older samples in your portfolio, feel free to. Just ensure that the majority of your application represents the style that you plan to bring if you're accepted into the zine!

Thanks for the question!
