Hi there, unfortunately, as the Russian Federation does not accept UPS or USPS packages, it will not be possible to preorder a physical product at this time. The FAQ says it is preferred that I join the discord server to participate but I can't find a link to the server anywhere. Any help?
hi there! the discord is found at the end of the form when you submit your pitches! If you've already submitted the form, please let me know by either sending us a DM on any of our socials (@tedlassozine on insta, tumblr, twt) or send another question here with your social handle so I can get in contact! thank you!

Hey! The "apps" part of the caard only shows the zine guidelines and doesn't seem to have a discord server link. Can you add one or provide it in the pinned post? It whatever works for y'all.
Hi there! That's 100% my fault, thank you for letting me know! The carrd page has been updated with the registration link. When you fill out the form, the discord link is then found in the "thank you for your submission" page at the end of the form. If you're still having trouble finding it but have already filled out the form, please send a DM to any of our socials or send another ask with your contact details and I'll send you the form link.

hi!! thanks for asking :D we're planning on opening registration on the 5th! When that time comes, there will be a form where you will submit your basic credit info and at least 3 pitches, and then you'll be provided a link to the discord to connect with the mods and other creators! Hope to see you there in a few days!

What's the difference between open call and ... not that?
hi! great question :D in open call, we skip the application period entirely. Instead, anyone who wants to join is able to register and join the discord. Mods will approve your pitches, and as long as you finish your work by the final deadline, you're in the zine!
The alternative would be a conventional zine, where there are applications/rejections to get in, so the contributor lineup is decided at the beginning. For us, the lineup will only be solidified at the end of the process based on who submitted work!

Are artists allowed to create more than 1 piece for the zine?
Hi there! As long as you feel you can complete both within the creation period time frame, you are welcome to submit more than one piece! There will be a place to note how many you plan to complete in your pitch submission, though it is not a binding contract. If you find yourself with less time than you thought, you can scale back down as you feel necessary. Hope this helps!

I don't have much social media activity, does that matter for if i apply to contribute art?
Hi there, so sorry we missed your question! As we've now opened the zine to be open call, it won't matter at all. You're welcome to join as long as you are able to complete a piece within the deadline and following the guidelines, your social media activity won't be considered!
