i don't think so... and i also hope sooji doesn't develop them for jayu. i like them more as friends. about jayu liking jaehyuk romantically, i'm not quite sure... i am sure she feels more comfortable with him than her other male friends. but she has never had a crush or thought about dating. the most she has ever wanted was friendship, and even then, she had given up on that until jaehyuk came into the picture (and others too). jayu thinks positively about him but romantically, i think it's still early to say. that's why im glad jaehyuk isn't being pushy. since this is a romance story, i hope we can see her slowly falling in love. from others stories i have read, it seems some people realize their feelings much later on (or when it's already late) because sometimes when they are around that person, they just feel like it's the most normal thing or a given. they don't question it. they just know they like to be around them but there's not that "greed" that comes with wanting to date someone (like proclaiming they are in an exclusive relationship or physical intimacy). maybe that's jayu. also, we have to remember she's very awkward and not used to dealing with people outside her family. so ig time will tell.

and jaehyuk and sooji being best friends would be nice. i think they have some things they only can relate to (the downs of being popular and standing out lol) but first, jaehyuk would need to discard his jealousy. sooji seems pretty cool but he has his own problems so that also needs to be address. rn he only feels comfortable with jayu because she's patient, doesn't overstep her welcome, etc. i would love to see him get more cheerful at school like jayu has. overall, i just want all these socially awkward kids, introverts and shy kids to do well !
