While I appreciate your fic ship polls, since you’re a yoonkook shipper & mostly write yk, the majority of your followers are going to be ykers who follow you for those fics. idk I’ve just noticed that every time you have a new fic ship poll with yk as an option it wins, but it makes me wonder, what’s the point in having a poll? I mean, write what you love, but ofc the results will be skewed to yk given your preference & the audience you attract. idk it makes me sad & feel useless when I vote, like why try?
yoonkook did win this time, but last time “a ship i have not written” won and the time before that, namkook won!
i can understand that, and i do mostly write yoonkook, but there are people who have followed me from other fics and aus and i never know what the majority might vote. i do agree that yoonkook wins most of the time, which is why i’ve stopped going through a bracket system and just putting yoonkook as an option because i also feel like there’s no point in going through all of that voting just for yoonkook to win!
that being said, i truly love writing all ships and if there’s a ship specifically that you want to see me write, please let me know and i’ll see if any of the prompts i have fit them!! or, i have written quite a few aus that were not comms but prompts other people sent me and said “hey i think you would write this well” and i almost always try to stick to the ship given!!
i’m sorry that you felt sad and useless voting, but i can hope you understand that i always want to write what people who follow me will enjoy, which is the point of having the poll. i always want to see what people following me want me to write.
