what were your favorite things about the starless sea? 👀✨
the prose. the world. the vibe -- is that a copout? the way it was so obviously inspired by games, notably legend of zelda, and centers the exploration of it without much of a quest. i really liked zachary. i really liked that it employed this idea of all creativity coming from the same source, where all cultures existed peacefully. i LOVED the acolyte parts quite a bit. ... really there isn't anything i disliked and nothing that WASN'T my favorite moment, besides the shoehorned antagonist.
