it might also be as simple as pledis not doing their job right and keeping his fame potential to a minimum, because he doesn't have any tattoos, doesn't wear earrings unless a shooting calls for it, hasn't dyed his hair in the longest time... everything hints to the fact that he's trying to get a gig! and I've watched enough kdramas starring idols to know that a great face can get you far— and since everyone tells him he should get into acting cause he has the face for it... let him audition i don't know!

sometimes i wonder if the only reason why we haven't had mg star in a kdrama is because of his skin? it's not a lack of acting skills because god knows how many idols were terrible at acting and they still got a role in a kdrama to start and better themselves...

I wish Mingyu got the amount of solo schedules Carats think he gets to be complaining about "stans who only care about his face". That was his FIRST Paris Fashion Week. He has just now started hinting about a solo. He isn't any luxury brand's ambassador yet he makes a lot of noise with his photoshoots. You can't tell me Pledis isn't purposely slowing him down!

is this a safe space to go on a long rant about fw bc ot13 are genuinely being sooooo annoying rn.........
hs - could be an interesting outfit but hs doesn't have good proportion or a distinctive feature to carry his clothes so he ended up drowning in it and looking like a little kid playing dress up.
dino - outdated but still 9/10 bc he made up for it with his confidence. invite dino to more fw pls.
sk, dk - ...now why are dk stans the loudest at making jokes over mg's outfit when their bias' outfit was BORING AS FUCK. at least the details on mg's collar peeking out was a nice touch but theirs look like something i can dig up from a thrift store. and they both clearly looked so uncomfortable and out of place in this kind of event.
jh - i can get a more interesting looking silk bathrobe from hnm tbh. also looked awkward whenever he tried to pose. should've emphasised the tiny bag at some point but you can't even tell its existence at all bc jh is terrible at modeling (like, wtf is that hand on the neck pose?? 😭 jh babe there's nothing to highlight on your hand or neck area)
js - ugly silhouette. boring and ugly patterns making his outfit too busy like where tf was the focus even meant to be
mh - balmain clothes always have nice silhouette so good for mh for matching it nicely to his style no notes
mg - boring outfit aside he suits fw THE MOST among kpop idols. confident, affable towards the media despite the language barrier, absolutely photogenic like there's not a single bad pic of him - either posed or candid. fshows are boring by default but he still managed to create viral moments. he absolutely thrived in events like this.
i don't even care about the entire fashion industry's circlejerk with their hideous outfits esp now among the P@lestini@n gen0cide but i can write mean things about svt during fw if i wanted to and i'd be labeled an anti. but type something similar for mg and you'd have the entire carats fandom kekekeing and making the tweet goes viral.

I feel like scoups is done there’s no coming back from this hear me out
- he has an injury which is basically a disability atp cause he can’t move his legs like before he won’t be able to keep up with svt
- he’s not interested in a solo career so he’s basically unemployed for the next 5 or so years while the group will go in hiatus due to the members enlisting
- he doesn’t have that much need in the group meaning the group will be stable without him like they’re been for the past 6 months so if he leaves I feel like svt will be fine
- I know the injury was not his doing but I don’t see how he can survive in this especially with the amount of hate he’s gonna receive, the hate he’s receiving now is just the top of the iceberg I feel like it’s better for his mental health to just leave the idol life and live like a normal person
Please don’t see it as scoups hate it’s just my thoughts

How do carats want the face of the group (mg) to do what he's supposed to do as that if they never hype him up and they always want to gatekeep him under the pretext of "protecting" him from "weirdos" (people who find him hot and attractive)? These people thirsting over him on social media are not the weirdos getting fancalls to ask weird questions and have weird requests (that actually makes him uncomfortable). Mingyu is a grown man who knows he's attractive and fine as hell, and people (kpop stans or not) thirsting over him shouldn't be carats' first concern, especially when they don't give a flying damn about him in the first place.
