If there was one thing Kahl could go back and change what would it be? If given the chance, would he actually change it even if he knew the repercussions?
Kahl would go back to when he was younger and either try to stop his sister from running away from the steppe, or leave with her. Neither of which would be something she wanted, so it would ultimately be futile for him to even try. (Not that he WOULDN'T try, but it's better for him if he doesn't. It'll only break his heart more.)
