YEAH‼️‼️‼️ apparently the world of one piece is almost 3 times the size of earth, and WE have ~7,000+ living languages; imagine how many THEY should have! especially with so many different (oftentimes isolated) islands. there's obviously some cultural exchange, but no fucking WAY people native to the south blue are speaking the EXACT SAME as people native to the north blue (excluding the "universal language" that was artificially constructed by the WG for literacy, trade, business, and military purposes). and while i like to think the four blues share a proto-language, there's still going to be variety; it's not like spanish, french, and italian are identical, right? so automatic mutual intelligibility would be unrealistic. and just imagine the potential! the pidgins and creoles, the BUCKWILD blended accents some people would have... mwah! 🤌 anyways, i'm happy you like the concept ^_^ thanks for the msg!
