Hi I'm interested in ordering this zine once it comes out but I saw on the FAQ that AI will be allowed, I was wondering to what extent AI is allowed to be used? Will artists be able to submit fully AI works?

As stated in our info doc- "AI tools or assistive software are only allowed if you own and created all of the art or writing upon which the software is trained. Systems that make use of training data that you do not own or did not create (like ChatGPT, Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, and similar) are strictly prohibited in this zine.
We will be taking this rule very seriously, as a matter of plagiarism, and anyone caught using AI trained on data they do not own will be kicked from the project immediately."
This being said, it will be very unlikely any contributor will have enough self-made art to program/train an AI system competent enough to produce a full piece. If a contributor was able to do this, we would ask that their AI program only be used assistively, and our Mods would need them to be upfront about this part of their process. Upon reviewing their pieces at every check in, we could be sure to note any uncanny errors and need the artist to fix them before continuing to the next check in or final submission.
