I get inspo from a variety of things! Some main ones:
1. Music is a big one, this is (part of) why I look up the lyrics to everything I listen to!
2. A show/movie I'm watching and I want to capture a similar energy. Film brings out a lot of emotions in me I want to capture
3. I also love re-reading old favorite fics and really sitting with why I like them and what specifically this story is trying to share with me. I have... quite a few of my favorite fics downloaded in Kindle format so I can read them on my phone LOL
4. Also books!! But I don't read a ton, rather I want to capture the vibe of a specific writer's style or explore a theme that they have too. I currently have a new wip rattling around in my brain that's a retelling of a palahniuk book
5. canon content and/or idol interactions. Sometimes I just see how two people act around each other and find it either super weird or endearing and I think "what if these two people were experiencing [x thing], how would they react" and build a story from there
6. real life experiences. Quite a few of my fics are based off of things I or people around me have gone through. my uhhh sign language jiung wip I recently shared is an example of something I've gone through/am going through
7. unironically, therapy LOL

okay I feel like I need to preface this by saying this is absolutely sooo tinhat-y/not nearly as deep as I'm making it and I'm projecting my own feelings about the clip. so this is just my opinion!! dfsgfhgfd

HOWEVER

I think two things really stand out about this clip to me

1. Keeho showing kindness through skinship/acts of service. He's incredibly gentle in this clip, trying to learn a new skill and the first thing he does after practicing on a wig is to call Seob over and practice on him. Yeah he's laughing at not being very good at doing hair (I think he's actually doing pretty well but I digress) but overall he's just so gentle and careful with Seob in this moment. A lot of other guys would laugh it off or be intentionally kind of rough to play into the "not good at this" thing, but you can see Keeho actually trying. Idk it feels so incredibly sweet to me that the first thing he wants to do is practice on/help his members

2. This reminded me of when Anna shared a story about growing up, she would practice makeup on Keeho and he was always willing to let her do it/was just generally really kind about the whole thing. A part of me wonders if hair/makeup/fashion has been this like... bonding thing for them :') I just kind if had a little pang in my heart because he doesn't share a ton about his family (understandable! he has the right since he's the famous person/in the spotlight and they aren't), but little scenes like that clip make me wonder if he's thinking of them when he's doing stuff like this

tl;dr I think keeho is very gentle and little habits like these are how he shows affection to his members, & it reminded me of the connection he has with his fam!!

is this keeseob? if so I like it! I think they both really respect each other even if they bicker a lot (similar to say, keeung). I feel like Keeho especially sees Jongseob as an equal since he's had the most experience in the industry and he really trusts Jongseob's musical taste. Jongseob likes to mess with Keeho a lot, especially when Keeho gets too cocky, but I think Jongseob reallyyy adores him. There was a clip floating around semi-recently where it showed that whenever Keeho would speak in like interviews or vlog content, Jongseob would stop and give his full attention and seemed to look at him really fondly

I think fanfictionally it would be fun to lean into the fighting side (very enemies to lovers/rivals in a shared industry) or compare how Keeho is really open with his feelings/affection to Jongseob not always knowing how to process that but craving that attention so badly. Once you crack through Jongseob's cool boy persona, there's something <em>so</em> earnest about him. He loves really fully and purely and I think Keeho secretly always needs that kind of affection.

I would love to see a fic where it's like... Jongseob in a world where he's trying to prove that he's an adult, and he assumes Keeho will treat him the same as everyone else. Then Jongseob realizes that Keeho already thinks of him as someone to be taken seriously and respects Jongseob for his opinions. Like craving an understanding and realizing it was always there within this person. Not sure if this makes sense but I can see it in my head and I like it a lot fsdgfgsd

honestly I love pairing Jongseob with all the hyungs, and I think he has such an interesting relationship with all of them but each relationship is super different! but yes, I love keeseob a lot :')
