i love friends to lovers!! esp if its childhood friends to lovers, pining building up over the years is just so so good. maybe they're on a road trip realizing they're more than friends or maybe they're fwb, it's just so good. im also a big fan of hurt/comfort esp if its like internal angst, characters feeling like theyre not good enough 🤕 i do love a good old fantasy/super natural au too
