Hi!!!! They’re going good 😊 I’m gonna publish some of the writing I did last week to our school’s literary journal! one of them is a poem, and I’d never written it before, so I suppose that counts as a eureka moment?? it was very fun to do! drawing class is also going well! i look forward to going twice a week 🤣 sad i probably won’t be able to take it next semester (transportation issues). gender/race in lit studies is fun as always.

the only thing that has been a bit frustrating — and this is gonna sound like i got a big ego but i promise it’s not that — is that my skill level is above my classmates enough that there’s not much…feedback that’s helpful (usually people are not sure what to even add or critique! so it’s just ‘this was good’ or stuff that was my stylistic choice) and I end up having to rely on teachers for critique — and for creative writing, the school’s writing tutors. it’s not that my classmates can’t be helpful! but often i want someone to tell me to kill my darlings and help me tear down my argument/writing/art and build it back up! i just have to wait to get to higher up classes i suppose 😭
