The most insane thing abt them making Mamoru 18 in the 90s anime bc they didn’t try to ask Naoko his actual age or anything is that they literally MADE A JOKE ABT HIM DATING A MIDDLE SCHOOLER they KNEW it was weird and still didn’t try to fix it !!
