Well personally I don’t really hc him that much cause he’s perfect to me(yes I know he has his flaws) but I like thinking about how Mello’s death deep down really hurt him but he never really told anyone or even expressed it, I think he was grieving internally yk?

TLDR: Near is my Number 1 favorite character but I love mostly everyone in death note!
Near is such a big favorite of mine since that’s the original reason I picked up again death note(surprise since he’s only in 10 episodes) but in general I really like almost every death note character I don’t really hate anyone I’m not really a character hater I just choose favorites
