If Klonoa ever came back, but instead as some grandiose, big-budget 3D platformer, how would you personally handle the gameplay aspects?

I think one of the first things I'd do is make 100%ing the game easier. Collecting every dream stone, racing through each mirror spirit and needing to reset the stage every time I missed or went through a one-way door... for me, it didn't feel the greatest.
