How did you get into the Touing of the Hoes
i was a young child with (supervised) access to the internet in the late 2000s early 2010s, when touhou music and memes ran rampant. i wanted to know what a toohoo was and it all went downhill from there. that franchise has been following me everywhere since i was like 6 and i’m not even kidding

touhou project is an indie franchise of bullet hell games that follow shrine maiden hakurei reimu and all the problems that she has to solve as part of her job as the “youkai exterminator” (she doesn’t exterminate them). what makes the franchise so huge is its giant japanese following and loose copyright rules making it a creative outlet or base for anyone to make fan games/music/literally anything based around its setting, characters and phenomenal music that were all originally done by one guy, zun
