With how much rendering you do, how do you know when a piece is finished? What things in your art do you look at to make that decision?

i almost never do honestly, and ill often tweak things long after the piece is posted to get things where i’d like them. often times ill stop when every part of the piece feels like ive given it adequate attention and that everything works as a part of a cohesive whole.
