referring to the previous answer: does this mean you'll expect to accept applications partly on the basis of having balanced camp ratios?

Yep! They won't necessarily be exact-exact numbers (For example, the group could accept six members into three camps, however one of the camps could have seven members making up the total of 25 members) but that will come down on seeing an application with a lot of potential and deciding to include an extra because of that. Regardless, the aim is to keep things as balanced as possible.

There is also the option to have your character 'sorted' into a camp on acceptance if you are either unsure on what camp to pick or are worried about ratios. Of course post-acceptance you will need to elect traits that correspond to your assigned camp & tweak things visually. There will be a window to do so immediately after acceptances.
