I just re-read OBAL and cried again during the part where Jimin, if he had a choice to be human, would still turn it down because that would mean saying goodbye to Taehyung. The line about the thought shooting through his mind like an arrow and how he caught himself realizing that he could never let him go and I was like damn… that type of eternal love is painful. Like here’s his reincarnated soulmate right in front of him and yet still he cannot let Tae go despite how much pain he brought to him. And then there’s Tae who, for the first time in his long life, apologizes to Jm and it was so sad to see Jimin be taken aback because he really never expected Tae to be sorry. I think Tae wants to make it up to him as much as he can and I think part of his internalized redemption is him protecting JK and “giving” him back to Jm after taking so much from him. I can’t wait see where it goes from here but I’m hoping Tae gets it together and learns how to properly tell JM he loves him 😭
