what controls the others affected by the parasites that partially got Void? some cosmic horror beings or just a big monster or???

There's not really like , 1 controlling force . I'd say its more like a hivemind-esc thing? It's its own species (foreign to earth?) that, while capable of psychical repopulation depending on host's body , mostly relies on spreading via assimilation like a virus . thats about as best as i cant describe it rn lol
