i've been through my fair share of dynamic discourse so i won't post this reply publicly on twitter haha, but it literally comes down to each of their own. did i go out of persona (royal), went onto ao3, and wondered why all the fanfics i was reading felt so off? yeah. does it matter in the end? not really. the best thing you can do is stay in your own lane, and surround yourself with people who either are the same or understand your preference!
