For submitting work samples- would a comic be submitted as a writing example or an art example?
This would be an art example, unless the main focus of the entire comic is on the writing, for example if the page is filled with 80% text.

As mentioned in our earlier post, we will steer away from proship. We will not go through your entire history, but we do not allow KV in the zine.

if im applying as an artist, does my portfolio have to be only trigun related artworks or am i allowed to include non-trigun works as well ?

It all depends on exactly which content it is. If you mainly create or interact consistently with content we stated specifically as triggering, we would appreciate if you do not apply, as we will be briefing through your socials during the application reviews.
