OKAY THIS IS GOING TO BE A BIG RAMBLE AND I MIGHT ACTUALLY DRAW A TUTORIAL OF HOW I DO HAIR AT SOME POINT IF PEOPLE ARE INTERESTED BUT. what i try to keep in mind while i draw hair is that it's not solid and it splits into smaller parts and flows together..... a lot of the proseka art renders this well, like how honami's ponytail has the different layers and separates at the top? so i usually sketch a rough shape for what i want the hair to look like and then make it "fluffier" by adding strands that stick out or go over other parts of the hair? i don't know this is probably easier to explain visually LOL
