PE teacher craig who also coaches track, known for being chill with students and not really caring about his job. its kenny’s freshman year and he plans on doing nothing besides getting high in the bathroom during class time and doodling boobs on his paper with the single broken pencil he carries in his backpack. that is, until he gets to PE class and has to run the mile. he groans with everyone else, but as soon as he starts running, he can’t stop. he’s one of the fastest in the class and the discovers that the rush he feels when he’s running is almost better than getting high. when craig sees him, he falls in love. the blonde hair on his skinny legs, bangs that get in his eyes when he runs, his uniform shirt riding up when he stretches. craig thinks he’s beautiful and kenny is always alone.

after class one day, craig calls kenny into his office while the other boys are changing. he says that with a little training, kenny could easily be the fastest in the class and be a star on the track team. kenny has no desire to participate in school sports but the promise of scholarships gets him (also the way craig is looking at him, laid back in his office chair, knees spread)

craig cheers for kenny more than any of his other students. they start doing “extra practice sessions” after school, most of which is craig instructing kenny to do workout moves that make his t shirt and shorts ride up, his legs spread, his ass in the air, while kenny opens up about life at home. craig buys him food after and it’s basically like a date. theyre getting closer and closer but craig doesn’t want to do anything unless kenny initiates it because he’d be put away for life.

maybe one way it could happen: they go to a burger place after one of their practice sessions and they’re just sitting in craigs car eating, talking about life. kenny has something on his face and craig just can’t resist wiping it off. kenny doesn’t mind, something comes over him, and he kisses craig. craig jumps on the opportunity because finally, finally kenny wants him back, he’s been waiting so, so long, holding back his urges.

kenny freaks out and starts apologizing, crying, because he doesn’t know why he did that. craig is pissed because he’s been so patient, he feels like kenny just gave him everything and immediately took it away, a cruel tease. he holds kenny down, whispering in his ear that if he doesn’t comply, he’s off the team. he’ll never make it anywhere in life without the scholarships it will bring.
