Would you like to see more stories of Barnaby and Kaede bonding together with Barnaby put in a sort of “parental” position kind of like S2 ep 7, which ultimately might help his development along with relate to someone who has been in a similar position (i.e loss of parental figure at young age)?
hi, would i like to see more of their bonding? yes, definitely. when i was watching the first season, i had many complicated feelings -- what kept kotetsu from returning to kaede, was barnaby; i had hoped that maybe this would be somehow touched upon (her resentment, her "prince" breaking apart family ties). i am also very glad the whole fan-girl part of her personality had dropped. part of me feels like she would more confide in barnaby, because he doesn't show any judgment but listens, and offers comfort if needed. them spending time together can be a way of barnaby to experience "normal" childhood. anyway, this topic is dear to me so you can expect more of barnaby-kaede combo in the future. take care.
