Hi Star! Just finished reading wtslb and want to thank you for taking this one for the team! I was craving for this exact tropes, with this exact pairing for years now 🥺 Tbh I also have similar drafts rotting in drive, I gave up halfway cuz it's just taking too much brain energy figuring out the logistic of abo in historical setting 💀. Idk how you did that but you just scratches the itches that I had for years, it's so satisfying. I love everything you've done so far! Honestly, I'd love to hear more of your thoughts and writing process. I wonder where do you find inspo or why choosing abo for this specific story. I think it'd be fun to do authors interview sometime? Only if you're comfortable with it tho! Anyway sorry for the long rant, I'm still too hyped from this story ngl 💓
hey anon!! tysm for ur kind words ahh i'm so glad u like it!! honestly i was scared to make a historical au because of logistics too but i got super inspired by the deja vu mv!! honestly i recommend talking it through with someone-- that's what helped me figure out logistics and plot!! my original notes were literally just "pretty alpha bg and rebellious omega yj ->> arranged marriage?? king bg (?)" anyway i just really talked it through with my friend lo, i did a lot of research (ie reading other historical fics), and i brainstormed a LOT. just remember you don't need to figure out EVERYTHING about your world, as long as you have enough for your fic to make sense. as for my writing process, i have a vague outline and then i outline each chapter as i write it!! i can go more into depth if you want on that!! most of my inspiration was from deja vu mv and i chose to make it a/b/o bc i wanted to take a non traditional approach to bmjn a/b/o!! feel free to dm me anytime or send me asks here i love talking about my fics <33
