HI I was about to yeet part 1 of my fic onto ao3 then I realised (a) I don't know what the collection is; (b) I don't know if I'm supposed to wait until 20 Sep; (c) I can even post it in parts as long as it's complete by 20 Sep or not.

hi! there's no official end to the claiming period, so you can join later so long as you're alright with missing the check ins and finish by the final fic deadline! :)

if after the claiming time and some prompts are still unclaimed what will happen to them?
if this is asked because you're curious about claiming a second prompt, then you must have finished your first one first!
if this was asked about what happens in the future, however, it's possible that an open round will be done so that the rest of the prompts can be claimed :)

how do check-ins work?
you will receive an email asking about the current progress of your work as well as a reminder on any important dates! here is also when to best communicate if you have any issues regarding the fic :)

hi! its my first time writing a fic for a fest and i saw a prompt i loved so much i already finished the first draft. my question is, do the fics need to have a beta reader? cus i dont have one so im not sure how i would know if my fic truly fits the prompt :) thank you for your reply and the time + effort you put into this fest!! ily mods!

you can only claim one prompt. if you want to claim two, you should have finished the first fic first. for further questions regarding this, please refer to the carrd!

hi! currently we are still at the prompting period, so rn it'd be either to submit prompts or think of a plot you want to use for yourself! as for the schedule and other matters, all of the information is on the carrd, and our retrospring is always open :)

no need to submit if you plan to self prompt! once the claiming form is open, there will be an option for self prompting on the form :)
