hi do i need to confirm or email you if i've posted to the collection?
hi! there's no need to do so! also, feel free to dm this account or email if you need an extension!
HI I was about to yeet part 1 of my fic onto ao3 then I realised (a) I don't know what the collection is; (b) I don't know if I'm supposed to wait until 20 Sep; (c) I can even post it in parts as long as it's complete by 20 Sep or not.
you can post before september 20! the link has been provided now, and yes, you can post in parts! :)
hi! just wanted to ask if it's possible to starting posting my work when it's not near the first check-in yet?
yes, it is!
hi, can i join the fest as an artist?
hello! at the moment, we don't have that option, but we will consider that for future reiterations of the fest! :)
idk how much time i’ll have :( is it possible to join later as long as i finish in time? or is there a claiming deadline?
hi! there's no official end to the claiming period, so you can join later so long as you're alright with missing the check ins and finish by the final fic deadline! :)
if after the claiming time and some prompts are still unclaimed what will happen to them?
if this is asked because you're curious about claiming a second prompt, then you must have finished your first one first!
if this was asked about what happens in the future, however, it's possible that an open round will be done so that the rest of the prompts can be claimed :)
how do check-ins work?
you will receive an email asking about the current progress of your work as well as a reminder on any important dates! here is also when to best communicate if you have any issues regarding the fic :)
hi! its my first time writing a fic for a fest and i saw a prompt i loved so much i already finished the first draft. my question is, do the fics need to have a beta reader? cus i dont have one so im not sure how i would know if my fic truly fits the prompt :) thank you for your reply and the time + effort you put into this fest!! ily mods!
there's no need for a beta reader, so no worries about it! thank you sm for the question and we hope you have the best time writing! :)
do we only claim one prompt here? or is there a way to claim two prompts for the fest?
you can only claim one prompt. if you want to claim two, you should have finished the first fic first. for further questions regarding this, please refer to the carrd!
Hello there! This is my first time joining a fest, do we have to enter our twitter username there? Since I don't see the required symbol, Is it okay if I just put in the ao3 and email and not the twitter one ? Thank you in advance!
hello! twitter username is not required, but we've made it so ao3 and email are in order to establish lines of communication for the check ins and other questions! :)
how do i claim a prompt when the time comes? i’ve never joined a fic fest before
there will be a form provided!
can we submit other ww and dn pairings for prompts as long as wonchan is the endgame ship?
for this fest, wonchan is the main ship, so the prompt should always focus on that!
hi! i want to join your fest but have never done one before so i'm not exactly sure what to do lol... can you give me any pointers?
hi! currently we are still at the prompting period, so rn it'd be either to submit prompts or think of a plot you want to use for yourself! as for the schedule and other matters, all of the information is on the carrd, and our retrospring is always open :)
hiii i want to ask abt the self prompt submission, do we still have to submit the prompt to the form and claim it later or would there be any other way to self prompt? sorry cz i'm still confused abt this, thx u in advance!
no need to submit if you plan to self prompt! once the claiming form is open, there will be an option for self prompting on the form :)
Hi there! Just wondering if we can see a list of the prompts submitted so far?🥺 partly so i can refrain from sending too similar prompts but mostly i’m just curious hehe
yes, the sheets will record all of the submitted prompts!
