Of course! I love thinking and talking about it so much. While I definitely focus more on Akira and fe it's fun to think about the translation stuff with p3 sometimes! Eventually I'll put more thought into designs but I'm not sure when that will be.

Mika is just an oc! One of Akira's first friends, if not the first! They're still very close, in fact she stays near Akira a lot of the time, especially after Akira's relationship becomes public. When she finished her training and all of the related assessments, Mika requested that rather than go under the service of a lord she work under Akira specifically (much to her own surprise). With the request granted, she was able to join Akira when she traveled to Nohr and Hoshido for her own work. So the two definitely see each other a lot and maintain their friendship long past their teenage years.

If you've been here awhile you'd maybe remember that before fe took over my life I was very very very much into persona. Specifically p3. And Akira was originally my silly little self insert that I had for ~10 years before she slowly became her own thing (partially into persona but DEFINITELY now). So. I think you know where I'm going with this (and if you don't that's ok too).
So yeah, the friends that I'm usually very vague about because I haven't fully fleshed them out in what I suppose is an fe au for them but just canon in my head is SEES. "Familiar" was a fun term I settled on rather than persona. And because fe LOVES their dragons I changed them all to be more dragon-like, though Akira's changed the least because Nike was already dragon-like to begin with. To adapt them more to an fe setting, they aren't fully physical beings, at least not outside of their home region. To summon them there has to be a similar power, such as dragon veins or tools invented to support that amount of energy, as summoning them without can be extremely dangerous if not fatal. While I haven't really decided on classes to base everyone off of, they have their Familiar, a weapon, and a general magic skill that is basically based off of their character in p3. For example, Mitsuru is a sword user who specializes in ice magic (she's also the one who takes the role of Queen after [REDACTED] dies because (a whole bunch of personal lore that would take forever to explain so tldr; just trust me)). Akira was originally a sword user who specialized in almighty magic, which I can't remember what I compared that to in fe but it's not important. She dabbles in some magic but focuses on swordsmanship. The fe-ified persona stuff merges with fates stuff in a post p3/pre-fates setting but the meat of my thoughts that I have about Akira are post-fates.
HI I could go on and on about this you have no idea how excited I was to talk about the LORE I'll leave it at this for now just know I'm kicking my feet and twirling my hair.

Not pets necessarily but they definitely have plenty of animals to interact with! Akira's father has some chickens back at her childhood home and the kids loved to play with/around them when they were little, Kiragi especially. He made it his own personal game to see if he could catch one and proudly go show his parents (usually trailed by Forrest who is pleading for Kiragi to be gentle and put the poor chicken down, he was always worried about them as if they were his own chickens). And occasionally they get to interact with Nike! So that's kind of like interacting like a dog. Sort of. They got to see her more before Akira, Leo, and Takumi married but afterwards it was usually just when visiting Akira's homeplace, though they've wanted to find a way for Nike to stay in/visit Hoshido and Nohr. Plus animals seems to have a natural inclination towards Akira (who definitely has a soft spot for strays) so there's usually an animal somewhere in their life, even if just a frequent visitor!

while not a gift per se I would probably say that akira introducing leo and takumi to her father for the first time (which was also had ",my fiancés" tagged on) was a really important time in their relationship bc of how akira grew up and how her father though that she would never trust enough to fall in love and now here she is visiting her childhood home to introduce the loves of her life to her father.

leo is absolutely a sentimental and lovestruck fool and once gave leo the first book takumi ever borrowed from him to him as a gift and it definitely had a very sappy note left inside.

you can't tell me that takumi doesn't seem like one of those "I saw this and though of you" kind of people. when akira or leo would be back in their respective home countries, takumi would sometimes see little trinkets while around town or even when exploring. little stone carvings, tea cups, flowers to press. he's a yearning mess when they're away.
